Insurance

Prestige Psychiatric Professionals is a growing private-pay practice. We except all major credit cards, cash and our providers are “out-of-network” providers which are not currently contracted with insurance companies.  Fees are due in full at the time of service.  An invoice with the appropriate diagnostic information and services for patients seeking reimbursement from their insurance company can be provided upon request.

If you decide to pursue “out-of-network” reimburse from your insurance plan, we encourage you to follow the subsequent steps;

(1) Call your health insurance company, either before or after your first visit, and have the following conversation:

(a) Tell the person with whom you are speaking with, that you are seeing an “out-of-network” psychiatric provider.

(b) Ask how much you will be reimbursed for CPT (Current Procedural Terminology) Code 90792 (initial consultation) and follow-up codes such as 99214.

(c) Ask how much your annual deductible will be.

(d) Ask how many certified visits you have per calendar year.

(2) Submit an invoice to your insurance company, see how much reimbursement you receive, and read the enclosed E.O.B

(Explanation of Benefits).  Most health insurance companies are required by law either to pay the claim, or tell you why they are not going to pay, within 30 days, you may call your health insurance company and ask about the “status” of your claim.
